IGNOU Latest Notifications — November 2026 Update
This is a short summary, in our own words, of what IGNOU published on its announcements page in the first week of November 2026. We read the official notices on 6 November 2026. Dates can change, so always confirm on IGNOU's website before you act.
December 2026 TEE date sheet
- The Student Evaluation Division listed a revised tentative date sheet on 2 November 2026. The document itself is dated 30 October 2026.
- The dates in the sheet run from 25 November 2026 to 14 January 2027.
- Exams are held in two sessions every day: 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM. The actual duration is printed on each question paper.
- Permission to appear is provisional. It depends on valid registration, assignments submitted on time where required, the minimum study period, and exam fee payment. If any condition is not met, the result for that course will not be declared.
- Courses in the same group (for example some CBCS and old BDP groups) are held on the same date and time, and IGNOU says it will not entertain date-change requests for them.
- Answers must be written in the language in which your programme is offered. The notice also allows Hindi medium for some courses; read the exact rule in the PDF.
- The notice says hall tickets will be available on the University website. We could not confirm on 6 November that they were live.

Online assignment submission (OAMS)
- IGNOU has started the Online Assignment Management System for the December 2026 TEE, for learners in Open and Distance Learning and Online programmes.
- You log in with your IGNOU Samarth account and submit course-wise assignments.
- If you already submitted your assignments at your Study Centre or Regional Centre, you do not have to upload soft copies again.
- The notice is dated 28 October 2026 and gives 20 November 2026 as the last date. IGNOU advises finishing well before the deadline.
